Academy review: Happy and satisfied with my experiences here in E room and Bacolod city

Hello, my name is Sally from Korea. I spent three months at the institute. I enjoyed my life in Bacolod so much.
At first, I couldn't say a word, so I blushed and embarrassed. However, the teachers guided me and taught me well to speak, so I was able to speak little by little.
I made a friend because my friends who came to the academy first talked to me. I was also able to meet friends from different countries at school. It was an opportunity to learn various cultures.
During my language training period, the Masskara Festival is a big festival in Bacolod, the center of Philippine industry called 'City of Smile'.
In 1970, the price of sugar cane, the raw material for sugar, the city's leading economic industry in Bacolod, took a major economic toll on citizens, leaving them with long hunger.
Finally, in 1979, the ship Don Juan, which was carrying sugar, sank after sinking with an oil tanker, and the economic damage to the city of Bacolod only worsened, killing 18 people.
At this time, painter Eli Santiago, president of the Art Association of Bacolod City, proposed a festival wearing a smiling mask to revitalize, and the masskara festival began in October 1980.
It was a great experience to be able to enjoy and see the famous festival as it belonged to the group dance among hundreds of people from the old festival. It was great to enjoy a festival where people's sadness turned into happiness through masks, and I also spent time with locals.
I was also able to experience firsthand culture while traveling with my school friends near Bacolod.
I would like to thank all my friends for spending time with me.Better memories of the Philippines have been planted. Also, the basic smile on the face of Bacolod's citizens has given me a good habit because I also habitually smile frequently. Eating local culture and food in the Philippines has also made me more interested in the country.
Maybe three months is a short time, but if it's long, it's a long time. I have a good memory and time for three months. I'm grateful to the teachers, the director, and my friends for allowing me to spend a time that I can't turn back.
If I have another chance, I would like to come to the Philippines. Before I came to the Philippines, I had a lot of fear and fear about English, but after I came, my attitude towards English changed. I think that's a good change. I hope I can meet my friends here in their respective countries. A new memory of the Philippines has been created. I  wish and hope that good memories and good things will unfold for all the students who come to the academy. I think it's more active and adventurous, through the language, it seems to have become an adventurous.
-Sally-
